Stopped at a Mexican restaurant while out of town. Ordered a beef quesadilla.
There was a little wetness when the plate was set down and then I tilted the plate and it was flooded with a ton of greasy water.

Where is the cheese? Do not finish this monstrosity!
You will be on the toilet for hours

What, you don’t like your quesadilla served in broth?

The fact that you did anything other than send that back is astounding.

I bet when you ordered, they also corrected your pronunciation to “quesadiLLa” with an “L” sound.

Legit thought this was a picture of a toilet for a second

That seems more like picadillo, not a quesadilla

Not unusual for a quesadilla to be served sin queso in Mexico City. But even still this may qualify for r/mexicanfoodgore status

Guessing this “nowhere” was not within Mexico lol

If you didn’t send that back you are too mild-mannered for your own good.

As a Mexican-American, I felt my soul become wounded by looking upon this horrid imitation of my favorite snack food. ¿¿Por amor de dios, ni puedes poner asadero en ese pobre chingadera??

Are you in the Midwest? I’ve only seen Mexican food like that in Ohio.

Ordering ground beef at a Mexican place is always a mistake.
